The President of Western Balkans University, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana hosted a cordial meeting at the university premises with representatives from Kara Investments Ltd and CFEII. The delegation was led by Mr. Armand Guy Zounguere-Sokambi, former Ambassador of the Central African Republic in Brussels and founder of Kara Investments. It is worth noting that Kara Investments is divided into two branches: "Kara Capital" in Brussels, Belgium, and "Kara Investment Fund" in Luxembourg.
Part of the delegation also included Mr. Manfred Mbella Mbome, representative of CFEII, and Dr. David Adam Nyaluke, academic and chairman of the Development Studies Association of Ireland's Business and Development Study Group.
During the meeting, Prof. Gjana expressed gratitude to the African friends and presented to them the work and activities of the Western Balkans University. He also expressed a desire to collaborate with them and have quality students from the countries of central and western Africa as part of the inclusive community of WBU.
During his visit to Albania, Ambassador Sokambi expressed his delight at visiting a university that meets international standards. He provided a brief summary of the fund's activities under his direction and expressed his eagerness to collaborate on areas of mutual interest.
During their visit, Mr. Sokambi and his delegation toured the premises and laboratories of the WBU campus and they had the opportunity to talk with students from different programs.
