Why choose this program?

  • Education with European standards
The Integrated Second Cycle Program, Master of Science in “Dentistry” offers a 5-year integrated program that combines basic knowledge of medical sciences with clinical training following the academic models and standards of the European Union.
  • Professional and practical clinical training
Students are engaged in practical and clinical activities from the first years of their studies, conducted in modern facilities under the close supervision of experienced dentists. The internships involve working with patients, starting with basic procedures and gradually progressing to complex treatments in all areas of dentistry such as oral surgery, prosthetics, orthodontics and periodontology. This early practical engagement enables students to develop technical and ethical skills in dealing with patients.
  • Modern technology and contemporary environments
The program takes place in modern laboratories and clinics, equipped with digital technology, CAD/CAM systems and advanced tools that reflect the reality of current dental clinics.
  • Qualified academic staff
Lectures and practices are conducted by professors with international experience in the field of dentistry, who bring to the audience not only the latest scientific and clinical knowledge, but also their experience from the most prestigious universities and institutions in Europe and beyond. In addition to teaching, they provide assistance in professional orientation, support for scientific research and preparation for further specializations at home and abroad. This commitment creates a close relationship between students and lecturers, promoting academic growth and the development of a successful career in dentistry.
  • Recognised degree and numerous opportunities after studies
The diploma of the Second Cycle Integrated Program, Master of Science in “Dentistry” is valid for practicing the profession in the country and in many other European countries (according to the rules of recognition and licensing), and creates a strong foundation for subsequent specializations.
  • Focus on ethics, communication and patient care
In addition to technical and clinical skills, the program places special emphasis on the development of professional ethics and effective communication with patients and colleagues. Students are taught to act with integrity, empathy and professionalism in any clinical situation, preparing not only as skilled specialists, but also as key figures in the promotion of oral health and health education. This comprehensive training helps build a balanced profile between scientific expertise and human commitment.

During their studies, students gain knowledge in the relevant years by focusing on:

First year of studies: Basic concepts in medical sciences
The first year of dentistry studies is focused on building a strong scientific foundation, focusing on the fundamental concepts that underpin the field of dentistry. Students learn the basic medical sciences, including biology, chemistry, physiology, and anatomy, which are essential to understanding the human body and its function. This year serves to establish a deep understanding of oral anatomy, dental development, and oral health processes, preparing students for the clinical steps and dental practices that come in later years.
Second year of studies: From theory to clinical practice and preclinical techniques
In the second year, dental students begin to move from basic science studies to more clinically oriented subjects, where they begin to apply the knowledge gained in the first year to the dental context. Students learn basic cavity preparation and restoration techniques, an essential skill for treating damaged teeth.  They also begin to study preclinical prosthetics, which helps them understand the processes and techniques associated with removable and fixed dentures.

Third year of studies: Patient Treatment
Third-year dental students generally begin clinical training and spend more time in dental clinics treating real patients under supervision. This year marks a major shift from theory and simulation to real-world practice.

Fourth year of studies: Managing complex cases and acquiring clinical skills
Fourth-year dental students are deeply immersed in clinical practice, often treating a wide range of real
patients and managing comprehensive cases.

Fifth year of studies: Clinical skills and the first steps in a professional career
Students are in their final year of the undergraduate dentistry program. This year is heavily focused on
clinical proficiency, professional readiness, and preparation for graduation and licensing exams
