Imaging Technician

Bachelor in Imaging Technician study program is part of the Faculty of Medical Technical Sciences. The mission of this program is the proper preparation of Imaging Technicians with the highest professional standards in performing quality and accurate service as well as the ability to adapt to the innovative health systems. Graduates will be trained to practice the profession in a wide range of imaging diagnostics ranging from traditional methods to the most advanced technological and scientific ones. 

Through this program, students will be trained to serve society with ethics and professional care. Being a field influenced by scientific and technological achievements, imaging is a dynamic field of medicine which is constantly developing, more and more digitized.

The purpose of this program is to transfer theoretical and practical knowledge to students, which will be used in the routine application of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging methods. 

The study curriculum offered is contemporary, diverse, and intertwined with knowledge of the anatomy and pathophysiology of the body, physics, imaging techniques currently in routine use in contemporary medicine, knowledge of the use of computers and practical work with this device. Western Balkan University (WBU) offers the students of this program the opportunity to be trained and to become skilled experts, to be employed inside and outside the country and to work with all imaging techniques in daily practice.
