The Board of Administration is the highest collegial administrative body of the Western Balkans University. It ensures the fulfillment of the university's mission, as well as its financial and administrative sustainability. The Board of Administration exercises oversight and control functions over the university's activities related to administrative, financial, economic management, and the administration of assets.
Members of the Board of Administration are appointed by the Founding Body for a five-year term, with the right to reappointment. The Board comprises five members. The Founding Body also appoints the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Administration from among its members for a five-year term, with the right to reappointment.
The Rector, Deans, Heads of Basic Units, and Administrators may not be members of the Board of Administration; however, they may be invited to participate in its meetings. The University Administrator is required to report on his or her activities at meetings of the Board of Administration.
The Chairperson of the Board of Administration ensures the implementation of the decisions approved by the Board. The operating procedures of the Board of Administration, as well as the rights and responsibilities of its members, are defined in the relevant regulations of the Board of Administration.
