Western Balkans University founded in 2021 in Tirana, aims to become one of the leading universities in Southeast Europe, in the fields of medicine, technology, and innovation by contributing to the enhancement of education, knowledge, science and service to society both domestically and beyond. In order to create an opportunity for cooperation with Albanian academicians in the diaspora, Western Balkans University launches the “WBU Brain Gain Program”, which aims mainly to become a bridge for the young or mid-career Albanian academicians working in prestigious Universities or Institutions in different countries all over the world.
This program includes the involvement of the selected group of professors and fellows in teaching and/or research activities not only by being present in Albania but also by contributing in distance from the country they are living and working.
All interested candidates who have at least successfully completed their PhD in fields of medical sciences, computer sciences, economics, management, biotechnology or similar fields can apply by sending a letter of interest at [email protected].
