Research Office plays a pivotal role in extending substantial support to various university units in research grants and funding. Through
interaction with outside stakeholders, the Research Office is the comprehensive liaison for exchange between government, industry, and academia
to promote scholarship and research that contribute to human welfare and the progress of society. The Research Office is dedicated to providing
access to diverse research information. This includes pertinent policies and regulations from regional and international funding agencies.
Additionally, the Research Office strives to offer an extensive range of support services to faculty and research staff, streamlining their
pursuit of research endeavors.

The multidimensional roles of the Research Office encompass the following responsibilities:
Increasing awareness of and ensuring adherence to WBU policies, ethical research standards, and international research-related and intellectual property laws and regulations.
Assisting in research grant reporting.
Facilitating workshops/trainings, mentorship programs, and internal review programs and identifying funding opportunities.
Collaborating with academic staff to assist in the preparation and submission of research proposals, and overseeing the coordination of applications to funding agencies.
Knowledge management of affiliated researcher/research activity information.
Responsible for the development and promotion of the WBU research effort to maximize impact.
