Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nereida Polovina is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. She also holds an Honorary Academic Position as an academic advisor at Western Balkans University. Assoc. Prof. Dr Polovina is a senior academic with more than 10 years of international teaching and research experience in universities. She is a Certified Business Management Educator and holds the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Manchester Metropolitan University. She specializes in teaching and leading course modules related to finance, accounting and international business management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

Along with her teaching, she is also an active academic researcher publishing in international peer reviewed academic journals. Her research focuses on the nexus of Corporate Governance, Foreign Investment, and the Institutional Regulatory Environment in developing sustainable corporate performance and sustainable economic growth in Emerging Markets and Transition Economies in Western Balkans region.

·         B.Sc. in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University (Turkiye).
