Dr. Silvana Gripshi completed the Integrated Study Program of Second Level in General Nursing in Tirana and in Biology-Chemistry at "Aleksander Xhuvani" University in Elbasan. After that she received a Master's degree in Nursing Management at University of Tirana. She holds a PhD in Pedagogy focusing on teaching strategies in nursing education, from University of Tirana. Currently, she is attending a postdoctoral program at the European Scientific Institute and is conducting a study on the attitudes of Albanian nursing students regarding the acceptance of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Dr. Gripshi has a long teaching experience, about 20 years, in pre-university and university education. Initially, she began her career as a biology-chemistry teacher in primary and secondary schools. She worked for 12 years as an assistant in nursing laboratory at the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences at University of Medicine Tirana. She was also a part-time lecturer for several years at University of Tirana and "Aleksander Xhuvani" University in Elbasan and taught courses of nusing in internal medicine, geriatrics nursing and basics of nursing. Her research activity is mainly focused on teaching and learning in nursing education and innovation in higher education and health care. Recently, Silvana joined the “Western Balkans” University as a full-time lecturer.
