Juela is part of the academic staff at Western Balkans University, where she works as an Assistant Lecturer and Academic Adviser in the Department of Biosciences and Engineering. She holds both a degree and a Master of Science in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology from the Faculty of Natural Sciences. 

After completing her studies, she gained valuable experience through a series of professional internships and became actively involved in project development and implementation in collaboration with NGOs focused on healthcare and environmental issues.

At WBU, Juela also leads the Green Code Club—an initiative that fosters student engagement in sustainability and environmental responsibility. Her experience in academic administration includes serving as Head of the Scholarships Office for a year and a half, where she played a key role in supporting students and managing scholarship programs with dedication and care.
