"A Choice for a Sustainable Future and Our Role", is the topic of the open lecture that Lek Kadeli, the Associate Chief Financial Officer in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), will hold for the students of Western Balkans University.
Mr. Kadeli has over 33 years of research, program implementation, and management experience in environmental programs, at both the national and international levels, with broad experience in leading organizational change, program development and implementation, resource management, and information management and technology.

Mr. Kadeli has also served as the Acting Assistant Administrator for the Office of Research and Development for over 3 years during President Obama’s administration. In 2016, he joined the World Bank as the co-program director for the global Pollution Management and Environmental Health (PMEH) program which was focused on air quality and waste management challenges in developing countries including India, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Egypt, Vietnam, and China. In 2018, he joined the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention as the acting Deputy Assistant Administrator for Management.
Mr. Kadeli has spoken at several international meetings and conferences, workshops, provided training, and facilitated meetings for international organizations.
