Welcome to the Spring School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Western Balkans University on 11 May 2024.
We are pleased to announce that the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences and Faculty of Dentistry will be offering several lectures regarding the medicine and health sciences. In collaboration with the American Hospitals Group, the Spring School of Medicine and Health Sciences is designed to enable students with interest and focus in medicin and health sciences to understand and apply gained knowledge in everyday life and to help them to choose in a reasoned and passionate way their professional future.
It will be unique and flexible program that will allow participants to gain comprehensive knowledge based in medicine, dentistry and health sciences like nursing, imaging, dental technician, physiotherapy and laboratory technician, providing a strong national and international health-focused platform to encourage, engage and strengthen students' desires and passion for health care professions.
The Spring School will offer several themes designed for young students with an interest to explore fields of health care. Each offered theme is designed to fully satisfy the needs of students with a specific interest in health sciences, development of medicine, research in human sciences, the impact of different factors on human health and the application of e-health technologies.
The overall objective is to give an in-depth overview on the themes mentioned above with a focus on case-based and participatory learning.
Learning objectives:
✅️Explore and acquire knowledge in current national and international health issues.
✅️Describe approaches, concepts and frameworks used in health studies and interventions.
✅️Expand participant’s personal network by meeting people from different schools and backgrounds.
Requirements:
The Spring School of Medicine and Health Sciences is open to all high school students, graduating or not, with an interest in medicine and health sciences.

◾️Registration deadline May 05, 2024.
