Our study programs aim to apply students' knowledge in the real world of industry, both nationally and internationally. In line with this goal, the Faculty of Economics, Technology, and Innovation, specifically the Department of Technology and Business, participated in the 'International Project Week' at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. The project was led by the dean of the faculty, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Fatbardha Kadiu, and the head of the department, Dr. Marsilda Memaj, along with 15 students.
During the project, our students worked with 23 multinational and local companies to provide solutions to a series of problems presented by these companies. They collaborated with 1000 participants from 10 different countries, including the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Scotland, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania, Portugal, and Albania, with our 15 students representing not only Western Balkans University but all of Albania.
At the end of the project, our students received certification for their contribution. This activity opened new doors of cooperation between Western Balkans University and all universities and industries participating in this international event.
