The Bachelor Study Program in "Biomedical Engineering" is part of the Faculty of Economics, Technology and Innovation. This program aims at the general training of students focused on knowledge of medical sciences and technology integrated with this field as well as knowledge and use of theoretical and practical tools necessary for the analysis, use and modification of these technologies and systems to gain material benefits and medical services. In the first two years of the program, the student will build an in-depth understanding of the medical sciences as well as lay the groundwork for further research.
The students will also explore the complex mechanics of human biology, study the technical basics of healthcare as well as acquire basic knowledge of molecular biology, biotechnology, engineering and the physical sciences. At the same time, this program offers the basics of modern technologies and their application in preserving and improving human health.
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to work as:
