The program of the first cycle studies, Bachelor in “Physiotherapy” aims to equip students with professional knowledge in practicing the profession of physiotherapist, in a 3-year study cycle. The knowledge gained in the Bachelor study enables the student to continue the Master Program Studies. At the end of the 3-year cycle, students will be able to apply professional methodologies for the treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of bodily injuries, pathologies for various causes congenital or acquired in patients in specialized centers or clinics.
The program's main scope is to prepare highly qualified physiotherapists. In the context of growth and preparation for the role of physiotherapists in Hospital Centers, an increase is required in the professional aspect of the staff that will work in this honored and respected profession. Based on these needs, students who complete this program will not only be able to get employed, but will help the market in filling this vacuum.
Graduates in physiotherapy, referring to the doctor's diagnosis, with their competencies, elaborate in the team the definition in the rehabilitation program for the patient, practice autonomously therapeutic activities for functional re-education of motor, psychomotor and cognitive disability, using physical therapies, manuals, mesotherapy, propose the practice of prostheses and aids, train the patient in their use and verify the effectiveness, conduct study activities and professional consultations, conduct professional activity in public or private hospitals, fitness centers, independently.
The achievement of professional competencies is realized through a theoretical and practical training that includes the acquisition of behavioral competencies which is attached to the specific work of the physiotherapist. All courses in the curriculum will be used in teaching with modern learning techniques, as well as the use of laboratory equipment located near the WBU.
