Dr. Pece Mitrevski është Profesor i Regullt i Shkencave Kompjuterike dhe Inxhinierisë në Fakultetin e Ekonomisë, Teknologjisë dhe Inovacionit. Ai mori diplomën BEng dhe MSc në Inxhinieri Elektrike dhe Kompjuterike, si dhe doktoraturën në Shkenca Kompjuterike nga Universiteti "Shën Kirili dhe Metodi" në Shkup, Maqedonia e Veriut. Interesat e tij kërkimore përfshijnë: arkitekturën dhe organizimin e sistemeve kompjuterike; rrjetet kompjuterike; cloud computing; sistemet e informacionit dhe programimin; analizën e performancës dhe besueshmërisë së sistemeve kompjuterike; rrjetet stokastike Petri; modelimin e sjelljes; tregtinë elektronike; dhe sigurinë kibernetike. Ai ka botuar rreth 130 punime në revista shkencore ndërkombëtare dhe në procedurat e punimeve shkencore të prezantuara në takime akademike ndërkombëtare, nga të cilat 15 janë të indeksuara në Web of Science dhe 22 në Scopus. Në periudhën 2013 - 2023, ai gjithashtu veproi si mentor për 10 disertacione doktorature të mbrojtura me sukses. Ai është anëtar i komiteteve të programeve dhe recensues në konferenca të shumta, si dhe recensues i disa revistave shkencore ndërkombëtare dhe redaktor i ftuar i botimeve shkencore ndërkombëtare nga shtëpi botuese të njohura. Ai i ka kushtuar vëmendje të veçantë zhvillimit të përhershëm shkencor dhe profesional, ka arritur bashkëpunim intensiv ndërkombëtar në projekte (gjithsej 17 projekte të financuara nga Bashkimi Evropian, përmes Komisionit Evropian) dhe ka vizituar vazhdimisht rreth 20 universitete të huaja. Është anëtar i disa shoqatave shkencore dhe profesionale ndërkombëtare: Instituti i Inxhinierëve Elektrikë dhe Elektronikë – IEEE; Shoqata e Kompjuterëve IEEE; Shoqata për Makineri Kompjuterike – ACM.
