Dr. Hodo pursued her Ph.D. studies during 2011-2017 at Bilkent University-Turkey, in Molecular Biology and Genetics, where she was enrolled as a research and teaching assistant. During this period her research was focused on applying several in vitro and in vivo studies related to RNAi and nanoparticles as technologies which could significantly serve for diagnosis, prognosis and/or treatment of breast cancer. Meanwhile, she was engaged in several research projects and teaching processes. Dr. Hodo’s current research interest focuses on a broad range of molecular biomarkers and health indicators in order to better understand and identify the physical, emotional, mental and social well-being of individuals under certain conditions and accordingly suggest steps to improve health-related decision making in different areas of healthcare or public health systems.
