Dr. Xhini Rizaj is a highly qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic leadership. From July 2018 to February 2023, she served at Izmir Katip Çelebi Statal Dental Hospital in Turkey, where the responsibilities included preoperative diagnosis, performing complex surgeries, and providing thorough postoperative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

In October 2023, Dr. Rizaj took on the role of Head of the Department of Stomatology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Albanian University, where she successfully led departmental operations, conducted impactful research, and set strategic goals. Her leadership included training and managing staff, as well as overseeing challenging surgical procedures, further enhancing the quality of healthcare in the stomatology field.

Currently, Dr. Rizaj is the Director of the Research Center for Quality and Safety of Oral Healthcare at Western Balkans University, as well as the Director of the University’s Dental Clinics. In these roles, she focuses on advancing research initiatives and ensuring high standards in oral healthcare. Her expertise and commitment to improving patient care make her a significant contributor to the field of dentistry, aiming to enhance both academic and practical applications in oral health. Dr. Xhini Rizaj continues to inspire those around her through her dedication and excellence.
