PhD(c) Ergi Hoxha is an Assistant Lecturer of Chemistry at the Faculty of Dental Medicine. She is part of the teaching staff at the Department of Basic Sciences, at Western Balkans University. Ergi teaches General and Inorganic, and organic chemistry in branches such as Integrated Second Cycle Program in Dentistry, Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering, Bachelor in Biotechnology and Bachelor in Laboratory Technician.

 

She completed a Bachelor's program in General Chemistry, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana. After that, she received the title (MSc) in Chemistry with a focus on education methodology & chemical subjects. PhD(c) Ergi Hoxha is in the process of a Doctorate in Applied Chemistry, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana focusing on the “Development of carbon-based electrochemical nanosensors for determination of ß - blockers in the environment”.

 

PhD(c) Ergi Hoxha is a Member and Representative in Albania of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK, and an Affiliate Member of IUPAC, U.S.A. She has teaching experience in International and British Curriculum. PhD(c) Ergi Hoxha is a member of  NanoAlb Quartz, part of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. She has been involved in professional development, notably through Professional Learning Communities, and she has been an assistant with the International External Examination process. She has been part of several national and international conferences.
