Accredited Training: BLS & D – Basic Life Support and Defibrillation in the Hospital Setting

Western Balkans University is organizing an accredited training session titled “BLS & D – Basic Life Support and Defibrillation (Automatic and Manual) in the Hospital Setting”, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Nursing Services and healthcare professionals from the American Hospitals. 

This activity aims to support the professional development of nurses and clinical staff by strengthening both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in managing emergency situations, with a particular focus on cardiac arrest response and patient safety. 

The training will cover key topics including early recognition of cardiac emergencies, initial patient assessment, BLS algorithms, correct use of automatic and manual defibrillators, and multidisciplinary team coordination in critical situations. 

The session will combine theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions, including pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate participants’ knowledge. 

Participants: Professional nurses, healthcare students, and clinical staff from healthcare institutions

Participation Fee:
• 1,000 ALL for Western Balkans University staff and students
• 1,000 ALL for American Hospital and Hygeia Hospital staff
• 2,000 ALL for participants from other institutions
