Our “Building Interpersonal Skills” workshop concluded with a powerful session on Constructive Debate, featuring special guest Valbona Halitaj, President of the Union of Student Councils.
During this session, participants explored the art of respectful disagreement, how to express ideas clearly, stay composed, and keep the conversation productive by prioritizing active listening and mutual understanding.
To strengthen practical debate skills, we worked with two key frameworks:
- ✅ The 3-Pillar Model: Structure, Respect, Listening
- ✅ The CWI Method: Claim – Warrant – Impact
With Ms. Halitaj’s insights, students reinforced an essential message: real communication happens when we challenge ideas (not people), manage emotions, and listen to understand.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this workshop possible and for contributing to a space where ideas grow through meaningful dialogue!
