At the premises of Western Balkans University, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, welcomed a delegation from Special Olympics Albania, led by Ms. Sara Bala, National Director of the organization.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the areas of social inclusion, sports development, and academic support for persons with intellectual disabilities. They also explored the organization of joint educational and awareness-raising activities aimed at promoting equality and inclusion in society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the two institutions, formalizing their shared commitment to strengthening institutional partnership and advancing the values of equality, inclusion, and social responsibility.
