Western Balkans University has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Zheijang Normal University, China.
Cooperation between the Institutions includes:
1. Collaboration in research and scholarly activities.
1.1. Both Institutions will work toward cooperative research or hold workshops on topics of common interest.
1.2. Organization of joint research programs and platforms.
2. Exchanges of scholars, students, and staff.
2.1. Selected faculty members from one Institution may visit the other Institution to exchange views with teachers and students.
2.2. Upon meeting normal admissions standards, students of each institution will be welcomed to study at the other.
3. Provision of educational services to each other including support of courses and staff development.
3.1. The two Institutions agree to exchange information as to their respective curricula; relevant research reports; and other such scholarly material as shall from time to time be thought appropriate by the Institutions. This may include the exchange of teaching materials, research papers, and other reference materials.
3.2. Organization of dual/double degree programs. The Institutions may promote dual and joint educational programs leading to undergraduate or graduate degrees.
3.3. Short-term training of instructors and other staff at their home institution and/or at the partner school.
Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) was established in 1956, consisting of 3 campuses and its main campus is located in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. Its 19 colleges offer 72 undergraduate programs, 28 master’s programs on Level-I subjects, 13 professional master’s programs, 8 doctoral programs on Level-I Subjects, and 1 professional doctoral program. It has 2,600+ faculty members and 50,000 students (including 27,000+ undergraduates, 6,000+ postgraduates, and 3600+ international students). ZJNU has established global partnerships with more than 280 educational institutions around the world.
