Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shpresa Temali is a Doctor of Science in the field of Physics since 1992. She graduated in 1972 in the Physics department at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Tirana. She completed a Scientific-Pedagogical Qualification in 1993 at the University of Padua in Italy (under the TEMPUS program in the IMG project). She also completed another Scientific-Pedagogical Qualification in 2001 at IUFM Montpellier in France. She obtained the title of "Associate Professor" in 1999.

She worked as an assistant physics teacher at the branch of the University of Tirana in Shkodra from 1972 to 1977. She was also a physics teacher at the Department of Physics at "Luigj Gurakuqi" University in Shkodra from 1977 to 2013, and served as the department head from 2008 to 2012. She was a member of the Senate of the University of Shkodra from 1994 to 1996. She has been a member of the Albanian Physics Society since 1990. She was the Chair of the Diploma Council for the Physics department from 1995 to 2012. She served as a Jury Member for dissertation defense at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Tirana in 1994. She was the Chair of the Scientific Circle of Physics from 1985 to 1989. She has been actively involved in and led physics Olympiads for secondary schools for 8 consecutive years. She has participated in and led several scientific projects. She has contributed to numerous scientific papers and articles and is the author of university textbooks.
