Through the International Relations Office (IRO), WBU will increase its international recognition and attractiveness of new forms of cooperation.
IRO progressively will carry out negotiations to sign agreements in various fields of study with prominent universities, institutions, centers and
companies from different regions of Europe and the world.
Mission
The International Relations Office (IRO) mission is to develop and sustain comprehensive, effective internationalization channels that are
academic, research and administration based to increase global engagement for students and staff.
Responsibilities
Identify potential partner universities and institutions globally and initiate dialogues for collaboration in teaching, research, and student
exchange programs, and signing MoU.
Establish and maintain effective partnerships with international universities, organizations, and government agencies to facilitate joint
research projects, faculty exchanges, and collaborative academic programs.
Attract and support international students from around the world by providing scholarships, competitive tuition fees, and a welcoming and
inclusive campus environment.
In close cooperation with the PR Office strives to raise the visibility of WBU worldwide, promotes the university's international image as a
global centre of excellence in teaching and research.
Participate in international education fairs, conferences, meetings, and seminars to represent the university and establish networks for
collaboration.
