Western Balkans University in cooperation with the University of "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti- Pescara in Italy within the framework of the "Erasmus+" Program, invites all WBU students to apply for study mobility scholarships.

Mobility includes:
Exchange for students of the first and second-cycle study programs.
Duration: 6 months
Mobility period: Spring Semester of AY 24/25, from March 24 to July 24.
The scholarship amount will be 850€ per month (in case of special needs + 250€ per month) + the flight ticket.
Accommodation in a dormitory (240€ per month).

Criteria for applicants:
To be a "Bachelor" student (students who have less than 30 credits are excluded) and a "Master" student of WBU.
Knowledge of the English or Italian language at least at the B2 level.

Selection criteria:
Students will be selected based on the scheme approved in the regulation "On the Implementation of Inter-institutional Agreements in the Framework of the "Erasmus+" Program Mobility", according to the following criteria:
Academic merit.
Language competence.

In the case of candidates with equal marks:
Priority will be given to students who belong to groups with socio-economic diversity, gender, race, color, special abilities, etc.
Gender equality (where possible, to select an equal number of candidates by gender).

Documents required for application:
Application form. ( will be attached to this email)
Copy of identification document/passport.
Student ID.
Transcript of grades.
Letter of motivation in English.
Certificate proving knowledge of a foreign language (Students studying programs in English are excluded from delivering this document).

Submission of application documents is done in one of the following ways:
- Electronically (scanned in pdf format) at the address: [email protected]
- Handout near the International Relations Office, Building B, 2nd Floor.

The application deadline is 12/11/2024 at 14:00.


Selection procedure:
The Erasmus Office at WBU forms a committee to rank candidates using a scoring system and specific criteria from the call.
The winning students are notified by email from the Erasmus Office.
Once ranked, the Erasmus Office sends the list of nominated students to the host university, which makes the final selection.
The host university will then contact the selected students to start the next steps.

ATTENTION! The student, who will carry out mobility at the host university during one semester, must choose courses equivalent/similar to those he would develop at WBU in the same semester. Credits not selected by students applying for mobility, due to differences between the study programs of WBU and those of the host university, remain part of the academic obligations of the study program followed by the applicant student which he/she must fulfill according to the relevant WBU regulations.
 
Please note that in general the courses are held in Italian, but the University "G. d'Annunzio” Chieti-Pescara can organize specific lessons, materials, and exams in English.
