Western Balkans University in cooperation with the University of "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti- Pescara in Italy within the framework of the "Erasmus+" Program, invites all WBU students to apply for study mobility scholarships:

Scholarship
The amount of the scholarship for your students will be 850€ per month + the flight ticket.
The Host University can provide to them support in finding a suitable accommodation.
Deadline
The student must be applied before 10/05/2025.
Criteria for applicants:
To be a "Master" student of WBU or a "Bachelor" student (students who have less than 30 credits are excluded)
Knowledge of the English or Italian language at least at the B1 level.
Selection criteria:
Students will be selected based on the scheme approved in the regulation "On the Implementation of Inter-institutional Agreements in the Framework of the "Erasmus+" Program Mobility", according to the following criteria:
Academic merit.
Language competence.
In the case of candidates with equal marks:
Priority will be given to students who belong to groups with socio-economic diversity, gender, race, color, special abilities, etc.
Gender equality (where possible, to select an equal number of candidates by gender).
Documents required for application:
Application form. (will be attached to this email)
Copy of identification document/passport.
Identity card.
Transcript of grades.
Letter of motivation in English.
Certificate proving knowledge of a foreign language (Students studying programs in English are excluded from delivering this document).
Submission of application documents is done in one of the following ways:
- Electronically (scanned in pdf format) at the address: erasmus@wbu.edu.al
- Handout near the Erasmus Units, WBU- B113 office.
The application deadline is 10/05/2025.
Selection procedure:
The Erasmus Office at WBU forms a committee to rank candidates using a scoring system and specific criteria from the call. The winning students are notified by email from the Erasmus Units, WBU.
Once ranked, the Erasmus Office sends the list of nominated students to the host university, which makes the final selection.
The host university will contact the selected students to start the next steps.

https://en.unich.it/teaching - Link to general didactic offer held in Italian – even if courses are in Italian the professor can offer a didactic material, tutoring and exams in English. In any case we will provide to student an Italian language course before and during the mobility.
ATTENTION! The student, who will carry out mobility at the host university during one semester, must choose courses equivalent/similar to those he would develop at WBU in the same semester. Credits not selected by students applying for mobility, due to differences between the study programs of WBU and those of the host university, remain part of the academic obligations of the study program followed by the applicant student which he/she must fulfill according to the relevant WBU regulations.
