As part of the ongoing activities of the Debate Club, this session focused on enhancing students’ effective communication and critical thinking skills.
Erida Shkalla, CEO and Co-founder of Future Skills, shared valuable insights into the essential role these competencies play in both academic settings and everyday life.
Key discussion points highlighted that effective communication extends beyond clear speech, encompassing active listening, an understanding of diverse perspectives, and the purposeful expression of ideas. In addition, critical thinking was emphasized as a fundamental skill for analyzing information, questioning assumptions, and making well-informed decisions.
Through practical examples and open discussion, students were encouraged to think independently, engage constructively, and communicate with confidence.
