Western Balkans University had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Ermira Jahja Hodo, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Head of the Department of Basic Sciences, for an open lecture dedicated to scientific research and academic development.
During the session, Dr. Hodo addressed the fundamental principles of scientific research, emphasizing the importance of scientific curiosity, research methodology, statistical analysis, ethical responsibility, and scientific integrity. She also presented practical examples related to scientific bias, research ethics, funding, and reproducibility, highlighting the responsibility researchers hold in contributing to knowledge and society.
The event was organized by the student club “Future Health Professionals” and served as a valuable opportunity for students interested in advancing their knowledge in science, research, and academic growth.
