A distinguished delegation from MEDIAN Clinics (Germany), including expert nurses and physiotherapists, visited the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy at Western Balkans University. This visit marks another important step in strengthening our collaboration and expanding international career pathways for our students.
They were warmly welcomed by the Head of Department, Dr. Ana Uka, and faculty members. During the visit, they explored our advanced facilities, including the Nursing Lab, Physiotherapy Lab, and Anatomy & Physiology Labs.
The Chief Nurse and Chief Therapist from MEDIAN Clinics introduced their employment project, opening doors for WBU students to join their clinical teams in Germany.
They delivered a specialized training session on patient rehabilitation, offering WBU students valuable practical knowledge and global perspectives in healthcare.
This collaboration highlights WBU’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful international pathways for our students, combining education with employment opportunities abroad. The selected students are now entering the second phase of the selection process for internships at MEDIAN Clinics, a life-changing opportunity to gain real-world experience in clinical and rehabilitative care.
