Western Balkans University hosted a dynamic information session and discussion on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), creating an inspiring platform for dialogue on global challenges and sustainable solutions.
The university had the honor of welcoming distinguished guest speakers from the United Nations, Aljaz Kuncic, Economist, and Guri Daco, Communications and Advocacy Officer at the RCO. During the session, they shared valuable expertise and insights with students regarding sustainable development and the role of international institutions in addressing global challenges.
Throughout the discussion, students explored the evolution of sustainable development, the role of the United Nations, and how the Sustainable Development Goals translate into practical actions. Through interactive exchanges, participants also connected global challenges with real-world solutions and Albania’s development pathway.
The session contributed to deepening students’ understanding of the SDGs and encouraged them to become proactive contributors to positive change in society.
