Western Balkans University hosted the “Manual Therapy in Physiotherapy” workshop, featuring Sakis Adamidis, PT, PhD, MT dip, CMP, MCTA, an experienced physiotherapist and internationally licensed instructor in the Mulligan, PNF, Kaltenborn, and Bobath concepts.
During the workshop, students were introduced to the fundamental principles of manual therapy in physiotherapy, combining theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations. This interactive approach allowed participants to actively engage and gain hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques.
As part of his visit to Western Balkans University, Mr. Adamidis also met with the Rector of the University and the Head of the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy, where potential opportunities for future collaboration within the Physiotherapy program were discussed.
This activity represents an important step in strengthening the practical component and international dimension of academic programs at WBU.
