Western Balkans University hosted the masterclass “Building Your Future at Home”, organized by Young European Ambassador Olta Shehu in collaboration with the WBU Debate Club, within the framework of the EU With YOU / WeBalkans Campaign.
The event aimed to encourage young people to explore opportunities for personal and professional development while remaining active contributors to their local communities and staying connected to European values and initiatives. The EU With YOU campaign seeks to bring the European Union closer to citizens across the Western Balkans by promoting awareness of EU-supported opportunities, programs, and success stories.
The masterclass welcomed distinguished guest speakers who shared their experiences and perspectives with students. Flori Gjini, journalist, media personality, and communication expert, discussed the importance of communication, media literacy, and personal initiative in creating opportunities and achieving professional success.
Participants also had the opportunity to hear from Klajdi Priska, expert in global affairs and international cooperation, who presented concrete opportunities available to young people through regional cooperation initiatives, youth programs, and international development projects.
Throughout the session, students engaged in discussions on career development, civic engagement, leadership, and the role of young people in shaping the future of their communities.
