The Rector of Western Balkans University, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, conducted an official visit to the premises of the Order of Pharmacists of Albania, where he was received by its President, Mr. Defrim Goma. The visit aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation in the field of education and professional development of future pharmacists.
During the meeting, a formal cooperation agreement was signed between the two institutions, marking an important milestone in reinforcing the connection between academia and professional practice. This agreement reflects the shared commitment to advancing quality education and promoting professional excellence within the pharmaceutical sector.
The partnership foresees expanded collaboration in organizing professional internships and practical training opportunities for students, as well as the development of joint seminars, workshops, and educational initiatives. Through this cooperation, both institutions aim to enhance the quality of university education and further strengthen the role of pharmacists within the healthcare system and society at large.
