Western Balkans University hosted a pre–FunFitness training session in collaboration with Special Olympics Albania, the country’s leading organization supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Under the guidance of Physiotherapist Rexhina Uzuni, athletes completed assessments measuring flexibility, strength, and balance, key components of the FunFitness program.
WBU Physiotherapy students actively participated in the session, gaining hands-on experience and preparing to serve as volunteers at the Special Olympics Albania event on 6 December 2025. This collaboration provided students the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while supporting inclusion, ability, and community impact.
