Western Balkans University has received the official Award Letter from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), confirming the positive evaluation of its application for the ECHE certificate under Erasmus+.
The official notification, dated 24 September 2026, confirms that Western Balkans University’s application under the call ERASMUS-EDU-2022-ECHE-CERT, Project 101336534 – ECHE, was successfully evaluated and that the University will be awarded the requested certificate.
The ECHE certificate represents an important milestone in WBU’s continued international development and engagement with European higher education initiatives. According to the official Award Letter, the certificate will enable Western Balkans University to apply for European Union funding calls in which ECHE certification is a formal requirement.
