WHITE COAT CEREMONY 2025
White Coats, Bright Futures
A moment of honor, pride, and inspiration
Western Balkans University proudly organized the White Coat Ceremony 2025 for its Medicine students — one of the most symbolic milestones in their path toward becoming doctors. This special moment marks the official embrace of a noble mission: the commitment to care for human life.
The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, Rector of WBU; Dr. Klodian Allajbeu, Founder of the American Hospital Group and Co-founder of WBU; and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Halili, Vice-Rector of WBU, along with distinguished doctors and healthcare professionals who shared their wisdom, experience, and the values that define the essence of medicine.
Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana emphasized that wearing the white coat means wearing responsibility — the responsibility to heal, to serve, and to lead with integrity.
Dr. Klodian Allajbeu inspired students by reminding them that medicine is not only a science but also an art of empathy, where every patient deserves your best self — as both a human being and a professional.
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Halili highlighted that today marks the beginning of a lifelong journey where knowledge, compassion, and dedication must always walk hand in hand.
The ceremony beautifully symbolized not only the donning of the white coat but also the beginning of a lifelong commitment to compassion, ethics, and excellence in medicine.
Congratulations to our future doctors — may your white coats always reflect integrity, compassion, and purpose!
