The International Relations Office of Western Balkans University is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Programme at the University of Rzeszów, Poland, for the Summer Semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
This mobility opportunity is open to eligible WBU students in selected academic fields and offers the possibility to study at an international partner university, gain academic and professional experience abroad, strengthen intercultural skills and expand international academic networks.
Selected students will receive Erasmus+ financial support, including an individual grant of EUR 800 per month, distance-based travel support and, where applicable, additional support for participants with fewer opportunities and for green travel.
Objectives
The Erasmus+ KA171 mobility programme aims to:
- Provide WBU students with an international academic experience at the University of Rzeszów.
- Support the development of academic, professional and intercultural competencies.
- Enable students to study courses relevant to their degree programme abroad.
- Promote academic cooperation between Western Balkans University and the University of Rzeszów.
- Strengthen students’ international networks and exposure to different academic environments.
- Encourage mobility, cultural exchange and European academic cooperation.
Scope
The call is open to WBU students enrolled in the following fields:
- Biotechnology
- Computer Science
- Imaging Technician / Diagnostic Systems in Medicine
- Economics
- Medicine
- Laboratory Technician / Medical Analytics
- Nursing
The mobility will take place during the Summer Semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at the University of Rzeszów, Poland.
The mobility is supported through Erasmus+ KA171 funding, including:
- EUR 800 per month individual mobility grant
- Distance-based travel contribution
- Optional top-up support for participants with fewer opportunities
- Additional support for green travel, where applicable
The academic programme and recognition of courses will be defined through the Erasmus+ Learning Agreement for Student Mobility for Studies.
Guidelines
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Be actively enrolled at Western Balkans University during the application and mobility period.
- Study in one of the eligible academic fields listed above.
- Have a minimum GPA of 7.0.
- Have at least B1 level English language proficiency.

Applicants must submit:
- Completed Application Form
- Copy of a valid passport
- Transcript of Records
- Motivation Letter
- Draft Learning Agreement
- English Language Certificate
The WBU International Exchange Application Form includes information on the applicant’s academic profile, language skills, previous international experience and other relevant details.
The Learning Agreement should outline the proposed study programme at the receiving institution and the courses to be recognised by WBU upon successful completion of the mobility.
