This intensive 10-day Clinical Anatomy Summer Masterclass offers a unique opportunity to learn in one of the world’s leading clinical anatomy training facilities. The program is highly practical, interactive, and hands-on, with no traditional long lectures.
Participants will work with Europe’s largest collection of plastinated human specimens (von Hagens collection), explore real clinical cases, integrate medical imaging into anatomical learning, and strengthen their clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
All sessions will take place at the Clinical Education Hub (Beehive), University of Warwick.
Objectives
- Strengthen core clinical anatomy knowledge relevant to medical practice
- Enhance diagnostic reasoning and understanding of anatomical-clinical correlations
- Develop practical skills through hands-on, interactive learning
- Experience international standards in medical education
- Expand academic and professional horizons
Scope
The Masterclass is open to WBU Medicine students.
The program includes:
- 10 full days of interactive workshop-based learning (7 hours daily)
- Human plastinated specimen sessions
- Surface anatomy sessions on living models
- Clinical case discussions
- Drawing, model creation, and quiz-based learning activities
- Exposure to internationally renowned faculty
Accommodation will be provided in student residences located next to the Clinical Education Hub
Guidelines
- Participants must be enrolled in the WBU Medicine program
- Students are expected to prepare in advance for each workshop
- Active participation in all sessions is required
- Certificates will be awarded upon successful completion
