The International Relations Office of Western Balkans University is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Programme at the University “G. d’Annunzio” Chieti–Pescara, Italy, for the Winter Term of the Academic Year 2026/2027.
This mobility opportunity offers students the chance to gain international academic experience, develop intercultural competencies, and study in an international environment through the Erasmus+ programme.

- Duration: 5 months
Scholarship Coverage
Selected students will benefit from:

- €900/month Erasmus+ grant (total €4,500 for the mobility period)
- Additional €250/month top-up for students with fewer opportunities (subject to funding availability)
- Travel support according to Erasmus+ distance calculation rules
- Assistance in finding accommodation in Chieti or Pescara
- Italian language courses before and during the mobility period
Objectives
- Promote international academic mobility and intercultural exchange
- Provide students with international learning experiences
- Strengthen academic and professional development opportunities
- Encourage participation in English-taught study programmes
- Enhance students’ language and communication skills
Scope
Applications are open for:
- Second-year Bachelor students (at the moment of application)
- Master students
Applicants must:
- Have a strong academic record
- Demonstrate English or Italian language proficiency at minimum B1 level (CEFR)
- Submit a valid language certificate or institutional attestation
Priority will be given to students selecting courses taught in English.
