Western Balkans University announces the III Call for the selection of students for outgoing Erasmus+ KA171 mobility for study or traineeship at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, Croatia (VEVU), within project 2025-1-HR01-KA171-HED-000334903.
This mobility opportunity is open to WBU students in the fields of Physiotherapy and Economics and will take place during the winter or summer semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
Through this Erasmus+ mobility, selected students will have the opportunity to study or complete training at an international partner institution, gain academic and professional experience abroad, strengthen their intercultural skills, and expand their international network.
The mobility includes financial support consisting of an individual grant of 800 EUR per month, distance-based travel support, and optional top-ups for fewer-opportunities participants and green travel.

Objectives
The main objectives of this Erasmus+ KA171 student mobility are to:
- Support international academic mobility for WBU students.
- Provide students with the opportunity to study or train at VEVU in Croatia.
- Strengthen cooperation between Western Balkans University and international partner institutions.
- Enhance students’ academic, professional, intercultural, and language skills.
- Encourage the exchange of knowledge, experience, and good practices in higher education.
- Promote internationalization and student development in the fields of Physiotherapy and Economics.
Scope
This call is open to students of Western Balkans University who meet the following criteria:
- Are actively enrolled at Western Balkans University during the period of the call and the mobility.
- Study in the field of Physiotherapy or Economics.
- Have good academic performance.
- Have knowledge of English at a minimum B1 level.
- Meet the selection criteria established by the host university.
The mobility may be carried out as a study or traineeship mobility at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar, Croatia.
The mobility period will take place during the winter or summer semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
Financial support includes:
- Individual grant: 800 EUR per month.
- Travel support based on distance.
- Optional top-ups for fewer-opportunities participants and green travel.
