Dr. Ana Uka ka mbaruar studimet Bachelor dhe Master Shkencor në Psikologji Këshillimi dhe të Familjes në Universitetin e Stambollit dhe Universitetin Leiden, Hollandë. Studimet doktorale i ka përfunduar mbi Psikologjinë e Familjes dhe Komunitetit në Institutin e Familjes dhe Jetës në Komunitet në Universitetin Clemson në Karolinën e Jugut, SHBA. Ajo ka punuar si eksperte (psikologe) nëpërmjet Këshillit të Programeve Ndërkombëtare dhe Programeve Ndërkombëtare të Columbus-it (CIPUSA & CIP) të Departamentit Amerikan të Shtetit në disa qendra dhe shkolla. Ajo ka punuar si pedagoge me kohë të plotë që prej vitit 2012 ku ka mbajtur disa pozicione si zv.përgjegjëse  dhe përgjegjëse e Departamentit të Shkencave të Edukimit (2019-2020), përgjegjëse e Departamentit të Edukimit dhe Gjuhës Angleze (2020-2022), përgjegjëse e Zyrës së Marrëdhënieve me Jashtë (2018-2022) dhe drejtore e Qendrës Kërkimore për Zhvillim të Qëndrueshëm dhe Inovacion (2022-2024) pranë Kolegjit Universitar Bedër. Aktualisht Dr. Uka është përgjegjëse e Departamentit të Infermierisë dhe Fizioterapisë në WBU ku edhe lektron në lëndët e psikologjisë dhe metodave kërkimore. Gjithashtu ka drejtuar si  kryeredaktore revistën shkencore Beder Journal of Educational Sciences (BJES) (2020-2024). Dr. Uka vijon të jetë bashkëpunëtore në disa projekte kombëtare dhe ndërkombëtare si dhe bashkautore në shumë artikuj shkencorë me studiues nga vendi dhe të huaj. Gjithashtu bashkëpunon në disa projekte ndërkombëtare me lidership të Universitetit të Coimbrës, Portugali, Universitetit të Vjenës, Austri dhe Universitetit të Seviljës, Spanjë në fushën e “Depresionit Perinatal tek Nënat”, “Stresi Perinatal tek Nënat”, “Sfidave të Edukimit të të Rinjve Gjatë Pandemisë në Europë” dhe “Suporti i Familjes për Mirëqenien e Fëmijëve në Europë” në kuadër të projekteve COST Actions – Horizon 2020.
