Western Balkans University invites applications for the position of Head of the Department of Computer Sciences within the Faculty of Economics, Technology and Innovation.
The Head of Department is a key academic authority within the Faculty, responsible for the leadership, organization, and continuous development of the Department’s teaching and research activities, in accordance with the University Statute and the institutional regulatory framework.
In this capacity, the role combines academic, managerial, and strategic responsibilities, ensuring the effective functioning of the Department as a core unit of the Faculty, as well as the quality, relevance, and sustainability of its study programmes.
The Department offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Cyber Security. The Head of Department is expected to provide strategic and operational direction, ensuring that academic programmes are continuously aligned with technological developments, labour market demands, and quality assurance standards, while contributing to the broader institutional development of the University.
