Western Balkans University invites applications for the position of Vice Dean for Research and Advanced Studieswithin the Faculty of Medicine.
The Vice Dean serves as a senior academic authority within the Faculty, supporting the Dean in the strategic coordination, development, and supervision of research activities and advanced studies in accordance with the University Statute and institutional regulations.
The Vice Dean exercises delegated academic and administrative authority from the Dean in matters related to scientific research, advanced studies, and academic development.
The position requires a distinguished academic professional capable of strengthening the Faculty’s research profile, promoting scientific excellence, supporting academic innovation, and enhancing national and international research collaboration.
The Vice Dean is expected to contribute to the continuous development and quality enhancement of Master’s and doctoral study programmes, scientific research activities, academic publications, and institutional research strategies in alignment with national and international standards in higher education and medical education.
