WBU is creating innovative modern study programs related to economics, business, finance technology, and innovation, the first of its kind in the area, in cooperation with partners from industry and academia. WBU aims to recruit motivated students, produce exceptional graduates, and create a self-sustaining ecosystem. The Faculty of Economics, Technology, and Innovation delivers research and study programs at the bachelor and master levels. The emphasis for both research and study programs is on economics, innovation, digitalization, information technology, and health management. Information science, Artificial Intelligence, information systems, and the interaction between technology and human beings are other exciting focus areas.
Purpose of the role
The post holder will mainly work the role of electronics-related courses professor serving the purpose of educating and inspiring students, advancing knowledge through research and scholarship, promoting innovation in teaching and curriculum development, and contributing to the academic community and society at large.
The post holder will provide effective leadership of the curricular theme across the years of the existing and new study programs offered by the Faculty of Economics, Technology, and Innovation at WBU. This will include the development, delivery, and assessment of curricular content, ensuring alignment with the intended learning outcomes of the electronics course, and the provision of a modern spiraled, and integrated curriculum. Through their expertise, passion, and dedication, electronics professors shape the future of technology and inspire the next generation of researchers, educators, and problem solvers. The post holder will conduct and/or contribute to relevant scholarly activity and may be required to carry out other activities to support and enhance the delivery of electronics-related courses, as agreed with their line manager.
