Western Balkans University announces the opening of a vacant position for a Finance Specialist within the Finance Office, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative capacity and support institutional development. This position aims to contribute to the effective management of financial processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable legal and institutional standards.
The increase in the volume of academic and administrative activities, as well as the complexity of financial processes, requires the engagement of a specialist who will perform the following duties:
- Holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics, majoring in Finance or Accounting.
- Has a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a finance specialist.
- Has proficiency in the English language.
- Has knowledge of the fiscalization system and the applicable tax legislation.
- Is familiar with the financial software Financa 5 and the Microsoft Office package.
- Is a reliable, well-organized individual, oriented toward accurate task completion and meeting established deadlines.
- Invoicing of the Student Residence.
- Monitoring of all correspondence received through the protocol addressed to the Finance Department.
- Preparation of the payment plan based on matured invoices.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of grants and projects from a financial perspective.
- Any other duties assigned by the Head of the Office.
