Position Description
Western Balkans University is seeking to hire a Full-time Professor / Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy , to provide teaching and academic support to students in the Department of Physiotherapy . Candidate will be engaged in teaching, curriculum development, supervision of clinical practices and scientific research. This position offers opportunities to contribute to the growth and improvement of academic and professional quality, as well as to help students develop their practical and theoretical skills in the field of physiotherapy.

Task and Accountability                                                                                                             
1. To recognize, respect, implement and act in accordance with the legislation and domestic legal acts in force;
2. To implement the provisions of the statute and internal regulations of the institution;
3. To implement the rules of ethics and discipline in the institution, avoiding any action, inside or outside the institution, that harms the image of the institution;
4. To undertake tasks related to the supervision of students, the organization of consultations and academic advising;
5. Engage in the implementation of administrative tasks in the department as defined in the relevant instructions;
6. Respect the time allocated for teaching according to the official schedule approved for the development of lecture, seminar, laboratory and practical classes;
7. To fulfill the obligation to draft the syllabus and submit it after approval by the head of the basic unit according to the instructions in force;
8. To increase professional academic skills and participate in training activities for this purpose;
9. Participate in scientific research activities and training in accordance with his/her profile (field of study), according to the needs and determinations of the institution;
10. To undergo performance evaluation of academic staff;
11. To report at the end of each academic year on all aspects of the organization of teaching for the relevant discipline according to the predetermined format;
12. Contribute to the development, planning, updating and implementation of a high-quality curriculum;
13. Assist in the development of learning materials, and record keeping to monitor student progress, achievement and participation; update learning materials and syllabus;
14. Participate in department and faculty seminars aimed at presenting research work and building interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside the department;
15. Participate in the development, administration, correction of exams and other assessments;
16. To contribute to the group work of the department, faculty or the Western Balkans University.

EDUCATION AND qualification
• Minimum academic title Associate Professor or Professor in Physiotherapy
• English language proficiency: C1 level.
• Experience in academic teaching, clinical supervision, or Physiotherapy training..
• Participation in research , publicationsin magazine the indexed , participation in conference .
• Professional experience in clinical physiotherapy practice.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in teaching in higher education is an advantage.
• Ability to lead and develop research projects.
• Registration in the Physiotherapy Order
