Job vacancy: Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Sciences(Full-time)

This position is situated in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and Imaging of the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences. The appointment includes teaching, research, and service assignment.

You contribute to teaching in the bachelor programs in the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences. You teach different courses in the programs including practical courses. You also supervise bachelor's and master’s theses within the faculty. The assignment can evolve according to needs and changes.

You research your area of interest and study more specifically, in collaboration with department you will develop research on your topic of interest and study.

You take part in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and Imaging with internal and external service provision, amongst others by translating the results of your research to the broader public. During your career, you are willing to include roles and management positions that are relevant to the department and/or faculty.

1.      Laboratory doctor, specialized in the field of Microbiology.                                                               

2.      It is preferable to have the scientific degree Phd.                                                                                           

3.      Previous clinical experience is preferred.                                                                                                   

4.      Candidates with experience in the field of education are preferred.                                                           

5.      Have proof of knowledge of the English language (at least level C1).
