Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Sciences (Clinical Biochemistry)

Western Balkans University is currently seeking applications for the position of Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Sciences (Clinical Biochemistry).

ASSIGNMENT
This position is situated in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and Imaging of the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences. The appointment includes teaching, research, and service assignments.

Academic education
You contribute to teaching in the bachelor programs in the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences. You teach different courses in the programs including practical courses. You also supervise bachelor's and master’s theses within the faculty. The assignment can evolve according to needs and changes.

Academic Research
You research your area of interest and study more specifically, in collaboration with the department you will develop research on your topic of interest and study.

Academic services
You take part in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and Imaging with internal and external service provision, amongst others by translating the results of your research to the broader public. During your career, you are willing to include roles and management positions that are relevant to the department and/or faculty.

1. Laboratory doctor, specializing in the field of Clinical Biochemistry. 

2. It is preferable to have a scientific degree Ph.D. 

3. Previous clinical experience is preferred.

4. Candidates with experience in the field of education are preferred.

5. Have proof of knowledge of the English language (at least level C1).
